Attendees came to learn about the basics of composting their food and organic waste in their own backyard. This demonstration, led by OCASA board members Keima Borsuah and Amanda Scofield, included information to get started composting, handouts for later reference, and demonstrations of building two different kinds of do-it-yourself (DIY) backyard bin options. At the end of the session, three attendees were randomly drawn to take home the bins we built during the workshop!
