The Oklahoma Compost Conference started in 2015 as a way to discuss how compost could benefit local communities, businesses, and the environment, especially in the great state of Oklahoma. We believe in raising awareness for the many uses of compost, and that by helping spread stories of successful businesses and projects, we can help our state. The OK Compost Conference features talks and demonstrations from leaders in the fields of industrial and community composting. Attendees range from local governments and municipalities, to construction and solid waste companies, to consulting firms, and to community members and students. Our 2020 conference was held virtually and our 2021 conference was the first hosted by our newly formed non-profit, the Oklahoma Compost and Sustainability Association.
