Our Mission
The Oklahoma Compost and Sustainability Association promotes the production and use of compost to support healthy environments. We are committed to civic engagement, advocacy, and education to encourage community‑wide efforts towards sustainable solutions.
Our Story
The Oklahoma Compost and Sustainability Association (OCASA) was incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit in January 2021, growing out of the Oklahoma Compost Conference planning committee. Our roots go back to our first conference offered in 2015, to discuss how compost is a sustainable choice that benefits local communities, businesses, and the environment. We continue to spread the richness of compost through education, advocacy, and outreach, to make compost accessible to all for the enhancement of our great state of Oklahoma.
