Second Worm Workshop a Success! | Oklahoma Compost and Sustainability Association

OCASA recently hosted a second, successful vermicomposting workshop at the OSU-Oklahoma City Farmers Market at Scissortail Park. It was beautiful weather on Saturday, September 18, and the 20+ attendees, including babies and dogs, had a great time learning, hands-on, about composting in worm bins. OCASA Vice President, Kelly Dillow led the session with support from board member Amanda Scofield and others. We wanted to give a big shoutout to Eleva Soils for donating worms, Fertile Ground for donating finished compost to give away, Mary Bixler, manager of the Farmers Market, and the OSU-OKC Farmer’s Market for purchasing the other supplies.
